About R.J.Gower
I live in North Wales with my husband and adopted Down's Syndrome son. We also have three adult daughters. Our eldest daughter is an Anglican Priest, working as a curate in Shrewsbury. The younger two girls are married. We have three gorgeous grandsons who keep us on our toes! I enjoyed my role as homemaker and mother, but my life took a new turn in 2000, when I unexpectedly developed a talent for digital art. Just as suddenly, poetry started bubbling out of my head! My work has been well received and I am still incredulous that from being the most inartistic person alive, people actually like, and are prepared to buy my creations! Our home and property came to media attention in 1997 when visions of the Virgin Mary were apparently seen in our field; subsequent healing has also been claimed. My spiritual life is still in the seeking phase. I was brought up in the Pentecostal Movement, but as I grew to maturity, I began to question much of the teaching I had previously accepted. I think throughout life one should constantly quest for truth and knowledge. I think a sense of humour and an ability not to take oneself too seriously are important attributes. Rose-Mary Gower 2005
