A Female Computer User's Prayer
Lord,
I am grateful for the 'Your PC Doesn't Bite' course that enabled me to
switch on my computer. Daily I marvel at my prowess as I learn new skills..
Thank you for the buzz I get when I master a complicated procedure, the
euphoric experience can be quite heady!
Help me to realise that when my computer crashes I can use it as a housework
opportunity. The smirk on the faces of the spiders in my home is getting a
little insufferable!
I must learn to accept with equanimity the message of opprobrium when I
switch the machine on again. I always think it is a little unfair to tell me
off for not using the shut down mode, it wasn't my fault the computer got in
a 'strop' and seized up, was it?
The Internet has opened up to me a world of information. Please assist me
to use the knowledge wisely and well..
I am thankful most of all, for the friendship of my cyber-pals from the
far-flung corners of the globe. It is exciting to have another way to 'chat
' to people. Please remind me that listening is also a virtue..
Thank you God for my computer, I have more friends, skills and talents than
ever before. Please assist me to continue with the learning process and put
it to good use for the benefit and happiness of others. AMEN
