Quinn’s Bedtime Routine

Our two-year-old grandson, Quinn, is a very intelligent little boy with a remarkable vocabulary for one so young. Like most children tries to prolong his bedtime routine for as long as possible! The other night was no exception.

"Mummy I want to do a wee!"

"No you don't!"

"Mummy I want to do a poo!"

"No you don’t!"

"Mummy I need a drink!"

"No you don't!"

He thought for a moment and then said, "Mummy I am dehydrated!!"

He got his drink!!!!

I wonder if the young Jesus was just as artful at spinning out his bedtime routine as our own delightful little scamp?
