Psalms 127:1 through Psalms 127:5
1 Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except
the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of
sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his
reward.
4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be
ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
A house is built of logs and stone,
Of tiles and posts and piers;
A home is built of loving deeds

Deut. 20:5 says "What man is there that hath built a new house and hath not
dedicated it.?"
We are here this morning to dedicate Mrs. _______ home to Christ. Let us look at
God's Word and see what He has to say about our dedication and about our homes.

27And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out
of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with
gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, with cymbals, psalteries,
and with harps.

twelve he goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.
The dedication of a home is a commonplace event in the Bible, and we are going
to follow this tradition this morning. If you will repeat "We Dedicate this
Home" after each of my statements.
